Cash is 9 months old

How is our little guy 9 months old already? Cash turned the big 9 months on  5/11 and boy does he have a lot to celebrate about!

I've tried to keep up with him and snap a quick picture of his first of everything like 1st time eating solids, his first time pulling up, first stroller ride, first time in the kiddie pool, first wagon ride, etc...but it's just not that easy to remember when you have a wild 2 year old to chase after too! So far, I am happy to say Colton has not injured his brother yet.  If so, it hasn't been anything like when Cash was 1 month old and Colton threw his play drill at him for him to play with.  Thoughtful? Sure you could say that.  We have now hit the stage of "No baby! This is Colty's!" It is pretty cute (sometimes) though because Colton will take whatever toy Cash has and he always replaces it with something else for him to play with.  Omg..we're gonna have some brawls here real soon. I can just sense it, but Colton may have to pack on a few more pounds and toughen up because his lil' bro isn't so little:)

Cash is a growing boy!

The official weigh in was 22lbs 9oz! (3.5lbs bigger than Colton at 9mos)

95th percentile and only 4 pounds lighter than Colton now!!

He is getting super tall too.  Forget those cute one piece outfits or bibs because they are flood pants on him.  I think he was 29.5inches which was the 75th percentile.  Dr Toohill says, "He's gonna be tall just like you!!" Haha...She thinks me 5'6" is tall, but she is barely 5 foot:)

So here are some recent action shots usually as Cash never holds still, so hope you enjoy just as much as I do of "oohing and ahhing" over him! Don't mind my not edited photos or the quality.  My iPhone is so handy and editing is so overrated now.  Who has time for that?

Mom and me time while big bro naps!!

Milestones:  He's been crawling for over a month now, pulling up on everything, and cruising around the furniture.  Walking will be here before we know it!

Social:  My little social butterfly:) Usually at the park. He loves the camera as you'll see by the next couple pics.  He is a ham and loves to smile for the camera, right before he lunges to get it or my iPhone and insert them into his mouth.  Slobber can't hurt. He smiles at everyone and lets out a big squeal and usually a giggle.

Hamming it up and definitely a Cardinals fan already! Don't try to change him.  In case you didn't realize, Cash prefers to wear a tie and his nametag to the park just in case we run into some chics.  He is a ladies man!

Who doesn't love a snuggly baby?  He loves giving hugs and just started open mouth kisses too!

Meals:  He prefers his shades while munching as you can see. 
Still breastfeeding! 100%, but I am so ready to have my boobs back and wear my normal bra.  Usually 4-5 times a day depending on our schedule.  I made it to 1 year old with Colton and that's my plan for this guy.  My freezer is stocked and could probably last the next months if I dried up now, but belive me that won't happen. I do cherish our bonding time and especially when he falls asleep and we can catch a nap together.
He loves Puffs, as well as Colton and Larry the dog too. Thank goodness we can buy bulk from Sams. Loving his baby food too and still can't get any cereal snuck in, but oh well. 

I see why people pay so much for photographers to take famiy pics because one picture of both of them looking and smiling is IMPOSSIBLE!!

Starting to look like Daddy here.  I'll have to post a baby pic of us and you can look for yourself, but most people say he looks like me as a baby.
But do you think he would say "MAMA" first? Nope.
"Da da da da da da da" when he plays, when he eats, when he wakes up, when in the car, and then definitely when Dada comes home!!



Baths together don't happen often.  Water is everywhere and they are nuts! I prefer baths to chill them out before bed time.

Thank goodness for Orajel and my phone.  Not really, but every time I turn around he's chewing on the rubber casing of it! He does seem to have some fussy days when they are bothering him, but who wouldn't.

Sleep: Definitely loving his naps:)
Bed at 7pm and awake between 6-7!
We do have an occassonal early morning feeding, but I blame it on Dad waking him up "pounding the weights" in the basement!
I love it though.  Theres nothing better to get him out of his crib when he's standing, staring at the monitor, looking and waiting for you to come and be greeted my his gummy, 2 teeth grin:)  I wouldn't change it for the world!
As I've now experienced...these moments don't last forever:)
