Wet 'n Wild Play Date

Colton and I had the joy of a "play date" Monday with my girlfriend Kasie and her adorable, little gal Khloe!! The weather was perfect so we headed to Miller Park.  If you haven't been there recently....WOW!!! It was recently renovated and they even added a splash park!! Growing up, every field trip through grade school was Miller Park and the Zoo of course.  I still have the class picture sitting in front of the old, rotted playground that never changed other then the occassional piece of wood missing or a broken swing.  Let me tell ya....Miller Park stepped it up:)  I'll let ya know about the zoo another day since we haven't made it there yet.  I'm hoping there's more than a lion and a reptile room this time.

It was great to chit chat with Kasie whom I haven't seen in over a year!!!  I blame this on Facebook! You can find out most everything you need to know about a person without having to call or see them. Blogs even make this worse (Unless you're like me who posts once a month). I swear I know people whos blog I follow and they live across country and I have never met, but they are my bff's:) We will definitely have to do this again because attempting on catching up while chasing two toddlers around, up the playground stairs behind Colton who is faster than lightning, through the water which was freezing, and out towards the parking lot wore me out and barely left enough oxygen in me to breathe, let alone talk.  It was impossible, but SOOOO much fun.  Can't wait to do this again!!

Splishing and a Splashing

Let me help you with that:) Khloe wanted to play so bad, but all he wanted to do was RRRRUUUUNNNN!!!

Peek a Boo

And of course some Dairy Queen for the ride home

The MOO MOO's down the road!!

You're probably wondering, where do the cows come in at?  Not the zoo!  Thank goodness for Dameron Farms in Lexington who have pasture after pasture of cows and to their neighbors who even have a horse and a donkey.  Colton knows when we turn the corner who we're going to see, even if not on purpose because they are on our way home from Bloomington.  He starts "Mooing"  the minute we hit the road, even before an animal is in sight.  So we stop by every differnet animal and have to make animal noises at them.  Even if not going to Bloomington, we usually start off our morning with a McDonalds Iced Mocha and OJ and cruise to check on these guys.  What a rough life we live:)
