Colton Craziness

Today is a tribute to our wild child Colton who is 2 1/2 almost!!  He is definitely a joy to be home with all day, but also crazy most of the time.  I can't imagine having a little girl whom my friends talk about play quietly, put on make up, play with dolls, and give attitude.  Instead our home is filled with high pitched screams, balls being thrown at everything, snacks everywhere, races around the great room between Colton and Larry, cries when Larry steals his cookie, trains and tractors covering the floor, and Cash isn't even mobile yet!  But he is getting there and Colton just isn't too sure about sharing anything with him yet.  How can a 2 year old fight over the Ipad or Iphone with a 6 month old? Life must be rough for these guys:)  I've snapped a few pics in the last couple days to show you how lucky I am to stay at home with this little guy and all the help he gives me.  Why would I ever need a nanny?:)

He helps with the cooking.
You can't tell, but the microwave is running with a plastic order of Little Tikes french fries warming up.  Thank goodness he only put them on for the 30 second express setting.

He helps by putting away dishes and also getting out dishes when they're needed or really he needs them.
He makes coffee knowing I can't survive without it.

It usually ends up with a humongous mess for me to clean, but it's all worth the 30 minutes it keeps him occupied.  Thank goodness for my Dyson!

I thought my cup of coffee was safe in the middle of table while I ran to change Cash, but obviously I was wrong.  I love how he's even covered up with his blanket and sitting on the bucket of play doh.

He even enjoys coffee which he calls "Coco Water."  I about died when he had my cup in his hand.  Definetly no nap that day:)

He helps himself to the fridge and usually reorganizes it. Thanks buddy:) I'll even find him from time to time wiping it clean with a baby wipe because he's watched me Clorox wipe it usually cleaning up the mess he has made.
He helps me coupon.  I don't really, but I do enjoy looking at the ads and he does too.

He brushes his own teeth and will brush until he can't find anything else to put on his tooth brush...tooth paste, Redken Rough Paste, Desitin, hand soap, etc.  j/k  But he does use these items as lotion for himself and Cash's head:)

Finally!! Something he eats besides apples, powdered donuts, and oatmeal...Pizza!! It's about time he starts eating like I do.  Now if I can get him to eat Ravs we'll have them for every meal!

Or we can have ice cream instead...by the gallon:)  He gets his own and if Larry's lucky he even gets a lick now and then while Colton's dishing it up for us to enjoy.

He plays a mean game of "ball ball" even if he has undies on his head.  It's quite cute, but don't think his opponent doesn't have on a pair too because they do.

He even enjoys the potty.  Although it isn't used for peeing in, I find him like this usually when I get out of the shower with the phone and Ipad in hand or his Thomas the Train book.  He doesn't get this from me Matt!

He wears big boy undies...on his head. Thank you Matt.  We will have to wait on potty training when he figures out where the undies really belong.  For now he prefers his "Elmos," which are his diapers.

I can't imagine life and this house without him in it.  Can't wait to share with you what he'll be up to next week:) We love you Colty!!
